Two Shots of Adrenalin

After 2.5+ rather solitary years working on this memoir, I have received two needed shots of adrenalin: 1. meeting up with Ben, who is developing a website for me, one that I will use to advertise me, my research, and my memoir and help to sell the book; 2. using Ben’s reference to make contact with the friendly people at PrintMill, a printer in Kalamazoo that is going to print my memoir in finished book form, including paperback cover with cover art–still to be done. All of this work and collaboration being done, hooray, locally! Like locavores, this is a “locapublio” enterprise (or something like that). Amazon, you are not invited to participate.

In short, I am no longer all alone with my memories and endless photos and research journal entries trying to make sense of that African past 38 years ago. Now I have allies!!! Including Ben and the folks at PrintMill. Thank goodness. This project now may actually be completed.
