Work Update

The website and blog have gotten to the point where they are nearly done, for now. Ben and I are getting together tomorrow to make final adjustments. Then he is going to turn the website over to me and I am going to focus on some blog postings and perhaps receiving communications from interested readers. All the while, I will have to figure out how to “get the word out” about the new website, including using various social media that right now I don’t know much about. In the meantime, I am at work getting the manuscript of the memoir finished. Right now I have a reader going through the entire manuscript, and he will give me his comments soon. Then I will finalize the manuscript (which will surely take some weeks), make sure the formatting is all correct, and then turn it over to the local printer in a PDF file. I hope that will happen within the next 2-3 months. These things always take longer than you imagine.
